Recently, I was looking for a place to stay on top of Mt. Nebo in Arkansas that wasn’t a state park cabin. State parks cabins are nice but I wanted something unique that would comfortably fit the entire family for multiple days.
That’s when I found The Kellam House and it did not disappoint!
This recently remodeled home is the perfect getaway in Arkansas!

My Experience
First, let me just say that I 10/10 recommend this vacation home. It has everything you could possibly need and more.
As a mother of three, I greatly appreciated that there were beds for everyone. We travel a lot and I get tired of trying to fit 3 kids in a double bed or one on a cot. If we go on vacation, I want everyone to be comfortable!
While we’re talking about it, there is also plenty of seating for everyone in the kitchen. SO many times, a rental will have seating for only 4. That’s not the case at the Kellam House. Everyone has a seat at the table.
You can watch my tour of the house in the video below!

Things You Need to Know
The Kellam House is equipped with everything you need except food, of course. Also, there was coffee in the cabinet when we were there but I’m not sure if it’s something that is regularly supplied. So, be sure to pack some coffee too.
Other than that, just bring your clothes and some trail shoes so you can hike!
Some of my other favorite vacation rentals in Arkansas are: the Little Red Riviera on the Little Red River, Capone’s Loft in Hot Springs, and The Lofts in Heber Springs!
No matter where you choose to stay, I hope to see you around The Natural State. Safe travels!
